Up until I had my second child I was a Legal Secretary in the City. A friend told me about a job in my local Tumble Tots. I took the job as it meant that I could still do the school drop off and pick up and I had all the holidays with my children. I had every intention of going back to my original career when the time came.
However, I had been working at Tumble Tots for a couple of years when the Franchisee said she was going to sell it. It made me realise how much I was enjoying the job and how much I would miss it. Not only do I find the job incredibly rewarding, I strongly agree with the whole ethos of Tumble Tots and really enjoy the interaction with the children and parents alike and I knew I wouldn't find this in another job.
Buying the franchise meant that I could continue with a job I love but without the worries of starting a business from scratch. So I went ahead. It was very comforting knowing I had a support network from an established company.

Lee and I bought Tumble Tots because we wanted a new venture and as I'd previously worked with children at a Health Club, I wanted to do more. The challenge is great but very rewarding! My days go SO fast now and we see the best of every child. I get parents that come in complaining about their jobs, and think to myself this is work, it's really not like a job.
Being my own boss gives me the freedom to put my stamp on the business, I have a great team and we all work together really well. We do parties at Summer and Christmas which are always full, sponsored events, colouring competitions the list goes on.

I came from a retail & training background having worked in retail for 12 years before having my children. I took time off after having my 2 children then worked for Tumble tots as a part time member of staff in the midlands before moving to Cheltenham in 2006 where I also worked part time as a Tumble tots trainer.
When the opportunity to buy the business came up I had no hesitation in going for it as I knew that this was a reputable Franchise with a proven record of training & support.

Jacky: We knew we made a good team after successfully running a Toddler Group. So when the opportunity arose to buy the Tumble Tots Newark franchise we couldn't ignore it. We both have children who have attended Tumble Tots. Having attended the Tumble Tots sessions I know what an important role they can play in a child's healthy development as well as being a fun, sociable place to meet new friends for both adults and children.
Helen: Both of my boys looked forward to their weekly Tumble Tots. It helped them with their confidence and development but above all the music and activities were fun. I am so proud that I can now be part of the Tumble Tots programme. When attending classes with children of our own we knew that it would be a fun day at the office. We were both looking to return to work but as with both mums were struggling to find something to fit around school hours and school holidays.
